Situated close to the city centre, the excellent Khum Phaya Resort and Spa is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. The design and architecture reflect the traditional Lanna style of Northern Thailand characterised by its teak wood carvings and the wooden roof tops. A landscaped garden area with an assembly of mythological Thai trees and flowers and a large exotic lagoon style pool create a relaxed atmosphere full of tranquillity. Still, the historic centre of Chiang Mai with its temples and shopping facilities is within easy reach. A wonderful place to stay.
