The Cenobio Hotel, an intimate boutique hotel, nestles in the heart of Matera's Sassi, steps from Piazza San Pietro Caveoso and the 13th-century Apulian-Romanesque cathedral. Carved into the ancient stone of this UNESCO World Heritage site, the hotel offers enchanting views of the Gravina stream and the impressive canyon of the Park of the Rock Churches. Just a short stroll away, you'll find Salvador Dalí's exhibit, the oldest fully furnished cave dwelling, the Santa Lucia alle Malve cave church, and Palazzo Lanfranchi, Matera's hub for exhibitions. This unique 'scattered' hotel, comprising nine distinctive guest rooms within a series of ancient buildings, seamlessly blends modernity and tradition with wisdom, authenticity, and contemporary style.
